All training and assessment is conducted locally by Deep Sea Divers Den Dive College, so you know you’re in experienced and local hands! Government subsidies are available and make this the best opportunity for affordable diving education in Queensland.

Our PADI 5 Star Dive training facility is located in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, and has been purpose built for safe dive training practices. The college boasts six air conditioned classrooms, as well as Cairns only fully covered and heated 25 meter training pool.

Not only will you receive the highest levels of training and knowledge, but you will also have the opportunity to explore the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Our Dive College has access to 17 exclusive moorings at Norman, Saxon and Hastings Reefs to ensure that all of your dives are unique and offer an abundance of coral formations and marine diversity – studying has never been so much fun!

Upon completion of your classroom sessions for Certificate III and IV courses, you will venture on an Overnight Great Barrier Reef experience on board our ‘floating hotel’ OceanQuest. OceanQuest boasts a range of spacious accommodation, and all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, en-suite facilities and a television. Our on board chefs will prepare your delicious fresh meals daily which are also included in the price. OceanQuest provides a comfortable ‘home away from home’ at sea, offering a truly unique and memorable experience for all students.

Upon completion of your classroom sessions for Certificate II courses, you will experience the Great Barrier Reef on board our day vessel SeaQuest. SeaQuest is a fast modern vessel that allows for over four hours per day on the Outer Reef, where you will learn the relevant skills and complete the open water units required to become a certified diver.

In addition to gaining your Certificate in Outdoor Recreation, our courses also include your Provide First Aid Certificate and internationally recognised PADI Dive certification. Upon completion of the core units, you will have greater career prospects, opportunities and pathways to further your education. There has never been a better time to enhance your skill set and become the very best that you can be, take the plunge today!
